Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and support the daily activities of the HSE department.
  2. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental matters.
  3. Schedule and organize meetings, training sessions, and inspections.
  4. Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other communications.
  5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
  6. Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation.
  7. Monitor and track compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
  8. Assist in the development and delivery of HSE training programs.
  9. Coordinate training schedules and ensure that all employees receive required training.
  10. Maintain training records and monitor training effectiveness.
  11. Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  12. Assist in the preparation of incident reports and the implementation of corrective actions.
  13. Track and follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
  14. Assist in the development and updating of HSE policies and procedures.
  15. Ensure that all policies and procedures are communicated effectively to employees.
  16. Participate in the review and improvement of HSE programs.
  17. Facilitate communication between the HSE department and other departments.
  18. Liaise with external agencies, contractors, and suppliers regarding HSE matters.
  19. Coordinate with department heads and staff to promote a culture of safety.
  20. Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  21. Recommend and implement improvements to HSE programs and initiatives.
  22. Participate in safety committees and contribute to the continuous improvement of HSE standards.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in health and safety, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in a coordination or administrative role within HSE.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Familiarity with HSE regulations and practices.
  6. Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage.
