The Systems Engineer analyzes customer needs, designs and validates command and control system architectures, and ensures integration and performance through testing and specification development. They refine requirements, oversee subassembly testing, and support the development lifecycle while mentoring technicians. Strong experience in systems engineering and knowledge of C2 systems are key to the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Refine or formalize the requirements and constraints (functional, non-functional, interfaces) of the solution
  • Formalize the specifications necessary for the development of the components of the subassembly
  • Participate in the definition of engineering plans used for development
  • Assemble the elements of the subassembly in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate their definition, behaviors, interactions and performances and to confirm that the subassembly conforms to its requirements
  • Demonstrate that the subassembly contributes to the satisfaction of the requirements and expected capabilities
  • Participate in the software documentation review phases following the reviews of the external software development team
  • Ensure data is ready and available for production, integration and maintenance of the subassembly
  • Provide coaching to other systems engineers in their field as needed
  • Test the solution against the project objectives
  • Significant experience in Software and/or Hardware, Systems Engineering and IVVQ activities
  • Mastering the development and IVV lifecycle from a process perspective but also on content (experience in requirements/architecture and/or in tests validation)
  • Knowledge of C2 (Control & Command) product/system or similar domain
  • You speak Arabic /English with excellent communication and interpersonal relationship management skills
  • Experience in a complex environment (multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary, matrix organization, customer interactions, etc)

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Timely delivery of system projects within allocated budgets and resources.
  • High-quality solutions specifications and integration, following systems engineering standards and best practices.
  • Achievement of project milestones and adherence to project timelines.
  • Team performance and productivity, measured through regular evaluations and feedback.
  • Continuous improvement in technical processes, efficiency, and innovation.

Required Qualifications, Certifications & years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an Engineering School (Electronics, Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or in University
  • 3+ years in system engineering position
  • Additional (Preferred): INCOSEE certification or equivalent
