Role - SAP Senior Project Manager

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 8 – 10 years SAP projects experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  3. Proven experience as a Project Manager in SAP projects, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  4. Experience working in Saudi Arabia, with a deep understanding of the local business environment and culture.
  5. Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  6. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  8. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage SAP implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  3. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  4. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  5. Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in SAP project management.
  7. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Business Skills

  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio and MPP.
  3. Understanding of business processes for focus areas or multiple modules.
  4. Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks tracking.
  5. Strong analytical skills.
  6. Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify and understand touch points between modules.
  7. Understands how to solve detailed project challenges.
  8. Has knowledge and experience in the client's industry.
  9. Can apply best business practices, especially those that SAP enables to meet client needs.

Consulting Skills

  1. Aptitude for working in a team environment; problem-solving skills, creative thinking, communicating clearly and empathetically, strong time management, and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
  2. Ability to explain ideas and concepts to other project team members and to client personnel.
  3. Has a solid foundation for consulting "soft" skills necessary for client engagements and may act as a coach for others related to these soft skills.
  4. Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices.
  5. Ability to identify upsell opportunities and assist in the management of scope.
  6. Creates professional relationships with client.
  7. Communicates project resource requirements to staffing coordinator/clients.
  8. Ensures quality implementation (works with QA program).

Leadership Skills

  1. Seeks ways to increase the project team effectiveness.
  2. Acts as a mentor to the rest of the project team.
  3. Works well as a member of a team.

Personnel Development

  1. Development of consultants to meet your project's requirements.
  2. Maintains knowledge of focus area at an expert level (known as the consultant's consultant).
  3. Give effective feedback (Immediate and Evaluations).

General Skills/Tasks

  1. Completes assignments within budget, meets project deadlines, makes and keeps sensible commitments to client and team.
  2. Meets billing efficiency targets and complies with all administrative responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Keeps project management appraised of project direction and client concerns.
  4. Regularly prepares status reports.
  5. Effectively manage a single engagement on a detailed level.
  6. Define project scope.
  7. Manage the team responsible for the daily activities of assigned projects.
  8. Ensure project quality, satisfaction, and profitability.
