Job Description

We are seeking a senior software developer to enhance our Real-Time Visualization project. This critical application streams data from rig sites for analysis, enabling real-time monitoring and support. Work here includes the development and integration of visualization components, optimizing data retrieval, unifying the platform component's look and feel, and including AI component integration to enable predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and real-time decision support.

Minimum Requirements
  1. BSc in Computer Science or equivalent degree
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong emphasis on data visualization, particularly with D3
  3. Expert-level proficiency in:
    1. Angular (version 10+)
    2. Node.js (version 14+)
    3. JavaScript (ES6+, TypeScript) and its related technologies (WebAssembly, PWA's)
    4. HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Rollup, Gulp)
    5. Responsive web design
    6. RESTful APIs and API design principles
    7. Database management systems, including Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
    8. Database modeling, normalization, and query optimization
    9. SQL and PL/SQL programming languages
    10. Experience with cloud-based platforms, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and deployment (OpenShift)
    11. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment scripts
    12. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
    13. Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and version control systems (Git)
    14. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and devise innovative solutions
    15. Outstanding teamwork and communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
    16. Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science
