The Role

The Senior Manager Development supports the Red Sea Hotel Management Company senior leadership team in a variety of business planning/modeling, forecasting, reporting, and project management activities.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Support the senior management team in a variety of business activities, such as research, benchmarking, planning, budgeting, and modeling various hotel development, management, and operations related activities – interacting with corporate leadership team, hotel management level colleagues and a variety of other internal and external stakeholders.
2. Support the senior leadership in drafting, negotiating, implementing and refining operator standards, technical & operational briefs, contracts (management agreements, technical services agreements, advisory contracts).
3. Draft operational concepts, budgets and briefs for new hospitality assets and operations including restaurant concept briefs, operational briefs, manning schedules, proforma budgets and projections.
4. Analyze, review and summarize budgets, agreements, plans, contracts, SLAs, and other documents to provide the senior leadership team tools and insights to improve the planning and operations of the hotels and other business operations.
5. Collect, organize, group, and make available information across the whole organization to ensure easy access to data to support future decisions and planning. Look for and communicate insights arising from the information gathered.
6. Create presentations, models, reports, and other work products timely, accurately and to a high degree of professionalism.
7. Apply standard project management and control tools to the workflows to ensure timely delivery of correct & accurate work products, identify resource & scope gaps, and ensure internal and external reporting is kept up to date as per pre-agreed standards.

Position Requirements:

1. 4+ years' professional work experience in hotel finance, development, openings or affiliated professional services environment. Good understanding of GCC hotel markets with strong commercial awareness is an advantage.
2. Professional degree in business, finance or related field with application within the hotel industry. PMP or Prince 2 certification is preferable.
3. Highly proficient in Excel - Proficiency in modeling and database skills, professional experience in MS packages such as VLOOKUP, Index & Match formulas, pivot tables, macros, and conditional formatting.
4. Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills.
5. Aptitude to learn quickly and work under tight timelines.
6. High attention to detail, well organized and a good level of initiative.
7. Highly motivated with a passion for problem solving.

Working Conditions:

This role may require travel across different properties within the portfolio to oversee project execution and ensure compliance with company standards. Flexibility in working hours is also expected due to the nature of project deadlines.
