Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for smart solutions within airports, focusing on the application of advanced technologies such as IoT, AI, machine learning, automation, and data analytics.
  • Lead the creation of a roadmap for smart infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the airport's long-term goals and sustainability objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and ensure the company's offerings remain innovative, competitive, and relevant in the evolving airport landscape.

Project Management & Execution:

  • Oversee large-scale smart solutions projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet operational requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to implement technologies related to automation, security, baggage handling, biometric systems, passenger flow optimization, and more.
  • Ensure the integration of solutions across all airport touchpoints, from check-in to baggage claim, to create a seamless passenger journey.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the key point of contact for airport authorities, government entities, vendors, and partners to ensure successful collaboration on smart technology initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to advocate for the adoption of advanced technological solutions.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of initiatives and project outcomes.

Operational Excellence:

  • Work closely with operational teams to identify areas for improvement and propose smart solutions to optimize airport operations (e.g., flight scheduling, security checks, and resource management).
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by analyzing data and performance metrics, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions.

Innovation & Technology Integration:

  • Spearhead the development and integration of next-generation technologies, including AI-driven passenger assistance, automated baggage systems, autonomous vehicles, and real-time data analytics.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and innovations in the airport technology space and identify new opportunities for the company's growth.
  • Develop and manage budgets for smart solutions projects, ensuring cost-effective implementation while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Evaluate the financial feasibility and ROI of new technology solutions and recommend investments based on business priorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • At least 10+ years of experience in leading technology or digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on airport operations or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in managing smart technology or digital solutions teams, preferably in an airport, transportation, or logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of airport operations, security regulations, and the latest trends in airport technology (e.g., biometrics, IoT, AI, automation).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and mentor diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
