Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Emerging Technologies and Business Innovation to join our Techverse unit. The Director of Emerging Technologies and Business Innovation will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives, developing use cases, and leading the development of new products and services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology and business strategy, with a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering results.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the innovation strategy and roadmap for the Techverse unit, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  2. Identify and develop use cases for new technologies and innovations that can be applied to our products and services.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the technology industry.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including technology vendors, startups, and research institutions.
  6. Manage a team of innovation specialists and business analysts, providing guidance and support to drive innovation projects.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the performance of innovation initiatives, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  8. Stay up to date with industry best practices and global standards in innovation and technology.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science. Master's degree is preferred.
  2. Proven experience in driving innovation initiatives and developing use cases in a technology-driven environment.
  3. Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred requirements

  1. Experience in the technology industry, particularly in software development or IT services.
  2. Familiarity with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and Internet of Things (IoT).
  3. Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships.
  4. Knowledge of global standards and best practices in innovation and technology.
