As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring and mapping land and property boundaries, providing essential data for construction, engineering, and land development projects, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

  • Conduct field surveys to determine property boundaries, elevations, and geographic features.
  • Utilize advanced surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS receivers, and leveling instruments to ensure precision.
  • Collect and analyze data related to land use, topography, and environmental conditions.
  • Prepare accurate survey plans, maps, and technical drawings based on survey results, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Compile comprehensive reports that document survey findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction managers to support project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and explaining survey results.
  • Implement quality assurance practices to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and inspections, often in various weather conditions and terrains.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior surveyors and interns to develop their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Leica Geo Office, and Google Earth Pro.
  • Hands-on experience with Total Stations, GPS, and Leveling instruments.
