Aramco occupies a unique position in the global energy industry. We are the world's largest producer of hydrocarbons (oil and gas), with the lowest upstream carbon intensity of any major producer.

With our significant investment in technology and infrastructure, we strive to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world along with a commitment to enhance Aramco's value to society.

Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with offices around the world, we combine market discipline with a generations' spanning view of the future, born of our nine decades experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom's vast hydrocarbon resources. This responsibility has driven us to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to not just the Kingdom, but also to a vast number of communities, economies, and countries that rely on the vital and reliable energy that we supply.

We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.

The Western Region Distribution Department is responsible for providing refined products for local markets such as diesel, jet fuel, and 91 & 95 gasoline.

Your primary role is to inspect, design, test, evaluate failures, and manage pre-commissioning and commissioning of Electrical and Cathodic Protection Systems for all facilities within the Western Region Distribution Department.

  • Perform Cathodic Protection inspection surveys for rectifiers, anode junction boxes, tanks, vessels, pipelines, road crossings, fire hydrants, and sheet piling marine structures.
  • Prepare comprehensive Electrical and Cathodic Protection inspection survey reports and share with concerned proponents within organization guidelines.
  • Report any electrical/Cathodic Protection findings to the Operation Foreman, issuing defect notifications through the SAP/SAIF system.
  • Analyze failures of Electrical and Cathodic Protection systems.

  • Conduct required spot checks on plant maintenance (PM check) and repair activities on critical electrical equipment.
  • Review existing Equipment Inspection Schedules (EIS) for Electrical and Cathodic Protection Equipment regularly and create EIS for new assets.
  • Ensure no overdue inspections as per EIS intervals. Conduct Pre-T&I (Test & Inspection) surveys for subjected assets, prepare observations along with recommendations, and monitor activities during T&I.
  • Review assigned standards and procedures, providing feedback during revision cycles.
  • Conduct annual checks on electrical testing instruments used by maintenance as per ANSI/NETA International Industry Standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized and approved program. A Master's degree in Operation Management is preferred.
  • Have a minimum of 12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, including at least 10 years in Electrical and Cathodic Protection System Inspection.
