Job Summary:

The Carpenter should be responsible for the construction, repair and maintenance of all aspects of hotel woodwork; ensuring that the quality of work conforms with standards.

As a Carpenter, we rely on you to:

  • Attend to all types of construction repair and maintenance work required of the hotel woodwork, furniture and fixtures.
  • Construct, repair and maintain aspects of hotel woodwork ensuring that the quality of work conforms with standards.
  • Ensure that all tools/workshop equipment are functioning properly.
  • Perform all responsibilities to the standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual.
  • Interact with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
  • Complete repairs as detailed in the Repair and Maintenance Requests.
  • Be environmentally friendly, reduce waste, recycle when possible, and reduce whenever applicable.

What we are Looking For:

  • Previous experience as Carpenter for a minimum of 4 years.
  • Good knowledge in woodwork machinery utilization/maintenance.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Physically fit.
