We are currently searching for a Program Advisory and Management Director to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Program Advisory & Management Director provides leadership and expertise to some of the region's most trusted clients from strategy, feasibility, set up, development and management of their major capital and transformation programs and initiatives in the various sectors of city development, infrastructure and sustainability.

This is a key leadership position within our ME business as we seek to further expand our Program Advisory & Management coverage in the region. This is a professional services environment and you will be a trusted advisor to our clients and internal stakeholders (often partners), and you will successfully lead and develop a highly skilled and competent team within this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead for the Program Advisory & Management function in KSA
  • Strategy and implementation focus of both major capital programmes (within Cities environments) as well as transformational initiatives.
  • Responsible for Program Advisory & Management services across several key clients/accounts
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of outcomes for clients in terms of goals, quality of solutions, meeting delivery timescales and client's budgets.
  • Improve the overall maturity of Program Advisory & Management across the organisation.
  • Drive collaboration between functions and regions. Communicate regularly, developing strong relationships across the organization and stakeholders.
  • Enhance and leverage key client relationships for the benefit of the Company. Responsible for all aspects of client satisfaction throughout the phases of work Buro Happold is engaged to deliver
  • Drive business development and the preparation of proposals.
  • Supervise, counsel and mentor employees and share knowledge of best practices.
  • Hire and manage project staffing requirements in line with the growth strategy and project requirements.
  • Set annual performance targets for direct reports and conduct performance reviews.

Your skills and experience

  • Must have as minimum a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field and or a Masters
  • Must have extensive track record and experience of leading teams in the field of program and project management with a significant number of years spent on advising and managing large capital programs & initiatives
  • Demonstrable experience Program Advisory at Director level in your current role
  • Experience in working with high profile private and government entities and clients.
  • Strong management, technical and delivery skills
  • PMP Certification preferred
