Supervise audits of the various operations and activities of the company, including financial, operational, compliance, performance, and information technology audits, provide effective recommendations, and submit internal audit reports to the Director of Internal Audit.

Job Description - Responsibilities

  • Supervising the company's internal audits.
  • Manage field inspections at a high level of efficiency and internal control.
  • Ability to follow up on operational, financial, and compliance audit projects.
  • Maintain all professional ethical standards of the company.
  • Prepare for the review process before initiating activity understanding interviews.
  • Attend interviews with the company's departments to understand the activity, regulations, and policies in force in the departments to gain sufficient knowledge to audit operations, identify weaknesses, and document understanding of the activity.
  • Supervise the preparation of the permanent file for reviewing entities and follow up on updating it continuously.
  • Supervise the preparation of working papers and references to prove them, and select samples prepared by the internal auditor.
  • Submit the initial review notes to the audit manager.
  • Work independently under the supervision of the Director of Internal Audit.
  • Follow up on risk assessment and draft risk registers.
  • Report internal control deficiencies directly to the audit manager and make recommendations to improve processes in terms of effective performance and efficiency.
  • Supervise and direct audit procedures and fieldwork, including identifying, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, and documenting audit processes and procedures.
  • Participate in interviewing, document review, testing, developing, and managing surveys, writing summary notes, and preparing working papers.
  • Document review issues and recommendations using independent judgment in relation to areas being reviewed.
  • Communicate the results of the audit and consultations through written reports including the executive summary and observations and submit them to the direct audit supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with auditees and employees through individual and group contacts.
  • Carry out the audit work or the work of a special nature assigned to him by the audit supervisor or the audit manager.
  • Perform any other task as appropriate and as specified.

Internal

  • Frequent direct, formal, and informal contacts with Boards, Audit Committee, and Heads of Departments.

External

  • Frequent direct, formal, and informal contacts with External Auditors, CMA, Tadawul, and other external bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years of full-time experience in auditing, accounting, or business analysis and risk assessment.
  • Bachelor's degree (in accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field) from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge and skills in applying internal audit principles and practices and implementing best practices in internal audit work.
  • Skill in using MS Office programs.
  • Skill in effective oral and written communication (English and Arabic).
  • Knowledge and professional skill in applying the principles, practices, and standards of internal auditing and accounting.
  • The ability to carry out field examinations and draw conclusions.
  • The ability to present information effectively and adequately.
