Overview: We are looking for an experienced Head of Catering to manage and oversee catering operations for large events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catering contracts, quality control, and policy implementation, with significant experience in managing catering for large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage all catering operations for large events.
  2. Develop and oversee catering contracts, ensuring compliance with quality standards and policies.
  3. Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure high standards of food and service.
  4. Coordinate with event organizers to ensure seamless catering services.
  5. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
  6. Oversee the development and implementation of catering policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  8. Manage and mentor a team of catering professionals.
  9. Prepare and manage budgets related to catering operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  2. 10 years of experience in catering management, preferably for large events.
  3. Proven experience in managing catering contracts and quality control.
  4. Strong knowledge of catering policies and procedures.
  5. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
