We are looking for Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician working for Vectrus, which operates under the umbrella of GDC-ME ATSS. The employee will be responsible for maintaining and repairing AH-64E and AH-6i helicopters, specifically focusing on armament, fire control, avionics, and electrical systems. The role ensures the operational readiness of the aircraft by performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex systems using technical manuals and safety procedures. This role supports both day-to-day maintenance and operational goals, coordinating with Production Control and Aviation Logistics, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards and contributing to overall platform operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all Attack/Scout Battalion, Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) maintenance functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates IAW contractual requirements.
  2. Responsible for compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.
  3. Assist the Production Control (PC) Manager in establishing daily maintenance operational goals, objectives, and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated OR rates.
  4. Oversees the daily Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the PC Manager, in conjunction with Aviation Logistics for related platform parts and spares.
  5. Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
  6. Directs inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of the aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the PC Manager.
  7. Coordinates with management for daily and weekly maintenance training activities.
  8. Supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures in coordination with the PC Manager.
  9. Other tasks as directed by the PC Manager.
  10. Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with a significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of experience as an aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician.
  • Three (3) years of experience specifically with AH-64 series aircraft.
  • Graduation from a US Military Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) technician course or equivalent civilian training.
  • Proven experience and performance with AH-64 series aircraft maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other relevant documentation.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage with customers in a professional manner.
  • Valid US-issued driver's license and passport.
  • Ability to pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AH-6i aircraft.
  • Experience working with GAU-19 12.7mm mini-gun systems.
