We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our consultancy firm for supervising a prestigious high-rise development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must have 10 to 15 years of mechanical engineering experience, specifically with high-rise towers, HVAC systems, and plumbing/firefighting systems, along with extensive experience working within consultancy firms (not contractors).

Key Responsibilities:


• Supervise mechanical works on-site, particularly HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems, ensuring alignment with design specifications and international standards.


• Review mechanical engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and shop drawings for compliance with Saudi and international codes.


• Oversee execution of mechanical systems, focusing on quality assurance, commissioning processes, and system integration.


• Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, electrical and civil teams, and contractors to ensure effective multidisciplinary integration.


• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor installation progress, providing expert technical solutions to on-site challenges.


• Ensure all mechanical systems meet health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly for high-rise tower developments.


• Manage on-site mechanical teams and maintain strong communication with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.


• Prepare professional reports, technical documentation, and correspondence in English.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.


• 10 to 15 years of experience in mechanical systems design and supervision for high-rise towers and hospitality projects.


• Proven expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems for high-rise buildings.


• Prior experience working exclusively with reputable consultancy firms (no contractor-only experience).


• Fluent in English (written and spoken).


• Proficient in mechanical engineering software (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, etc.) and familiarity with BIM tools.


• Strong knowledge of international and Saudi mechanical engineering standards.


• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
