Job Summary:

Managing all accounting activities of both the financial and management accounts of the company. Prepare financial data and performance reports, assist departments with annual budget and reviews, and handle internal control and tax studies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll.
  2. Supervise and participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  3. Enter or direct the entry and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
  4. Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
  5. Direct, conduct, and/or participate in cost analyses and rate studies.
  6. Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
  7. Review accounting and administrative controls.
  8. Establish system controls for new financial systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems.
  9. Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
  10. Review financial statements with management personnel.
  11. Manage the deployment and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
  12. ERP - Microsoft Dynamics AX 365.

Requirements

Educational / Licensure:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a similar field.
  2. Minimum 3+ years experience working as Chief accountant or same.

Professional Experience:

  1. Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting.

Specialized Knowledge:

  1. Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skills.
  2. Expert in the computer ledger system.
  3. Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiar with SAP 6.0 plus.
  4. Able to function in a team and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  5. CPA certification preferred.
  6. Strong financial accounting experience and public accounting experience preferred.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
  8. Expert handling large ERP and reporting packages.
