The Opportunity:

Join our Middle East Sales Team as a Senior Account Executive based in Saudi Arabia and make a significant impact in expanding opportunities and increasing our market share. Showcase your expertise and build enduring executive relationships. This Account Executive (AE) role has a proven track record of building a territory from a base of accounts. You will drive proactive campaigns to build pipeline, using specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities with both new and existing accounts. We are in search of someone to join our team with IT Operations Management (ITOM) or Application Delivery Management (ADM) experience, selling into regional accounts.

What You Are Great At:

  1. Developing a long-term software sales pipeline in specialized areas
  2. Seeking new opportunities to enhance customer value and drive pursuit
  3. Setting direction for business development and solution replication
  4. Selling complex products or solutions on a partnership basis
  5. Establishing consultative relationships with clients at all levels
  6. Working with new and existing customers to define strategic development
  7. Establishing professional, consultative relationships with mid-to-large enterprise clients, including C-level executives
  8. Strategically positioning OpenText's solutions while maintaining competitor awareness
  9. Leveraging partner relationships to extend reach into accounts

What It Takes:

  1. Demonstrated achievement in enterprise software / IT sales
  2. Experience building pipeline through focused prospecting
  3. Strong knowledge of technology solutions, including ITOM or ADM
  4. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and delivery tools
  5. Consultative selling and strategic account planning skills
  6. Excellent project oversight and stakeholder engagement
  7. University degree or equivalent work experience
  8. Typically, 8 - 12 years of advanced sales experience, with 2 - 3 years in product sales within ITOM or ADM
