We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Senior Scrum Master who will play a pivotal role in leading agile transformation initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects through Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a skilled facilitator and coach, responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance within the Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and act as a point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Promote transparency and communication across teams and stakeholders, ensuring visibility into product progress and blockers.
  • Track metrics and key performance indicators to measure team performance and guide improvement efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment and share best practices across the organization.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance Agile competencies within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and the ability to apply best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required; additional Agile certifications (such as SPC or ICP-ACC) are a plus.
