We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT System Administrator with Delivery Functions to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines traditional system administration responsibilities with coordination and execution of IT-related deliveries—ensuring seamless operation of systems and timely rollout of hardware, software, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

System Administration:

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with IT policies.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Maintain IT documentation, including configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard systems and data.
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability and reliability.

Delivery Functions:

  • Coordinate and execute the deployment of hardware (e.g., computers, printers, network devices) and software across departments or locations.
  • Manage IT assets and inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors, courier services, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment.
  • Support rollouts of new systems, updates, and applications, including user training and change management.
  • Conduct on-site or remote installation/configuration as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) as a System Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows/Linux server environments, networking, and virtualization.
  • Experience with system and network monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with IT delivery logistics and asset management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft (MCSA/MCE), or Cisco (CCNA) are a plus.
