Under the general direction from the quality control manager, assisting and carrying out the quality control duties and adherence to the standard practices within THC departments/units.

  • Ensure compliance with company and regulators issued documentation, procedures, and processes.
  • Assist and carry out internal and external inspections.
  • Assist in the production of quality and safety reports as required by QHSE.
  • Assist in conducting company quality control training for all employees.
  • Assist in executing and carrying out inspection duties on THC fleet and operations ensuring compliance with operational requirements and regulations.
  • Perform inspections of technical tasks, parts, materials, facilities, and other departments associated with the safe operations of the fleet.
  • Coordinate and review THC's fleet certification packages prior to submitting them to the authorities.
  • Ensure that feedback and information from the QMS are disseminated within the QSS department and to all concerned.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
  • Perform any other duties assigned related to the nature of the work.

Experience & Skills:

  • 5 years of experience with proven 2-3 years of experience working in quality control in the aviation field.
  • Holding GACA (FAA/EASA) license (Pilot, Technical, Operations).
  • General knowledge of GACARS, with emphasis on PART 145.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality standards and understanding of the role of quality control inspector.
  • Possess good work habits, team-oriented, strong work ethics, and able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standards of business etiquette.
  • Product-oriented, reactive, and focused on detecting defects.
  • Knowledge of aircraft operations, GACA inspection and reporting procedures, and laws and regulations pertaining to flight operations and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management/business management or equivalent experience.
  • Holding any relevant certification is a plus.
