Sustainability and Environmental Engineer

• Work as parts of the environmental and sustainability team, practicing open communication, with a participative approach to meetings and work commitment to projects.


• Understand the sustainability and environmental requirements of local legislation, international best practice and standards, and ensuring that they are complied with.


• Write and illustrate environmentally sustainable planning principles, concepts, strategies, controls and guidelines.


• Apply a thorough approach to all projects and delivering environmentally sustainable design solutions within accepted professional and client parameters.


• Prepare and write environmental and sustainability reports for planning and design projects.


• Work within multi-disciplinary teams of planners, urban designers, landscape architects and engineers to complete environmental and sustainability aspects of land development, master planning and building development projects.


• Provide technical environmental and sustainability expertise and administration, including sustainable land-use planning, sustainable urban and infrastructure design and sustainable building design.

Requirements

Education


• Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD in Environmental Engineering or Equivalent.

Experience


• 3+ years experience in environmental & sustainability design projects.


• EIA's.
