Strategic:

  • Budget Preparation (Help in gathering the data required from ORACLE and prepare the comparisons)

  • Sourcing & Negotiations (Engage with the suppliers to get the quotes and negotiate based on the market intelligence to get the best price for company)
  • Supplier Relationship Management (Keep good relations with suppliers and manage them amicably)
  • Optimize NWC (Ensure the stocks are not going to be over the Safety Stocks level and manage the deliveries accordingly)
  • Lead and supervise new projects leading towards Cost Optimization (Bring in new ideas, suppliers, or products to give an edge over the COGS)

Operational:

  • Lead the Procurement Cycle (Take care of the whole procurement cycle from policy management to implementation and audits)
  • Command over RFI / RFP and RFQ Process
  • Knowledge of Incoterms (Global Business Shipping Terms)
  • Proficiency in ORACLE System
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Well versed in Excel formulas, etc.)
  • Raise Purchase Orders
  • Import Documentation & Custom Clearance requirements (Should have knowledge to check all the documents are as per the customs rules before handing them over to logistics for clearance to avoid any demurrages and delays in clearance)
  • Meet OTIF Targets (Ensure the material is received on time without delays and as per the requirement)
  • Zero Downtime due to OOS (Ensure the factory is not having any disruptions due to shortage of materials)
  • Contract Preparation (Engage with suppliers to sign off Americana product Supply Agreement to protect the business)

Skills:

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management from a reputed university; certifications like PMP, CSCP, and CSCM would be preferred.

Experience:

5+ years of experience, preferably in the food & beverages industry with direct materials.
