We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Chief Accountant to join a company currently in its establishment phase in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who can establish accounting processes, support business operations, and lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Establish and organize accounting processes, policies, and internal controls.
- - Record and oversee business transactions for financial and tax reporting purposes.
- - Prepare and submit statutory financial reports and tax filings in accordance with applicable Saudi regulations.
- - Lead or participate in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP, including accounting setup and process configuration.
- - Participate in designing and improving business processes.
- - Monitor company activities and ensure accurate financial records and compliance.
- - Oversee account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and financial reporting.
- - Coordinate with management and external auditors as required.
Requirements:
- - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- - Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or in a similar senior accounting role.
- - Experience in a trading or distribution company is preferred.
- - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, Saudi tax regulations, and ZATCA requirements.
- - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation is highly desirable.
