Expert Network & Service Quality Engineer

As the Expert Network & Service Quality Engineer, you will work with the Network & Service Quality team. The team works on defining the main KPIs for network and service quality and tracking those KPIs to provide trend analysis and action plans to management. This covers different services in voice and data technologies like 2G/3G radio, CS Core, PS Core, transmission, VAS, IGW, and WiMax.

You will be responsible for defining the Key Performance Indicators reports for (CS, PS, VAS, RAN, WiMax & PSTN) and ensuring that the KPIs (SLA) are met. You will report any degradation in the KPIs immediately and define KPIs dashboards for management while ensuring proper analysis occurs as required. This includes establishing guidelines for network quality management and defining all relevant performance indicators.

Your responsibilities will include preparing high-level assessments for management on network end-to-end status and trend analysis, as well as preparing periodical high-level network quality KPI reports and monitoring existing KPIs. You will serve as the technical focal point for KPI reporting and trend analysis.

Additionally, you will benchmark the KPIs with key operators, especially in the Qtel Group, on network and services quality and ensure methodologies are reviewed frequently, taking into account best practices and company objectives. You will validate network quality & capacity and produce assessments for any deviations. You will study the impact of promotions and changes to capacity KPIs.

Your role supports the organization's business objectives and long-term strategy. It involves analyzing raw data supplied by operations to update and highlight any changes in network performance (CS, PS, VAS, RAN, WiMax & PSTN) to planning and other teams. You will also recommend to planning and marketing what is required to increase the company's profit based on customer behaviors.

If you are interested in applying for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Telecommunications/IT or related fields, with a minimum of 6 years of total experience in the telecom industry, including management skills or roles. You should have subject matter experience in networking topologies and performance analysis, a good background in mobile and fixed technologies, and related topologies and interfaces.

You need to have a strong understanding of mobile industry trends and services, along with the business acumen to make cost vs. technology trade-offs. Additional requirements include:
