Context

The Human Resources (HR) Advisor manages the end-to-end employee cycle from mobilization, onboarding, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, employee relations management, policy & procedure management and offboarding. The HR Advisor is the main point of contact for all HR activities

Missions/Main Duties
  • Oversee the company's global mobility program (relocation and internal transfers, international assignments) whilst focusing on the efficiency and employee experience.
  • Oversee employee relocations/onboarding processes to provide seamless services to employees and their families, where applicable
  • Monitor all active mobilization assignments, researching and resolving complex mobilization issues, including immigration escalations.
  • Maintain relationships with global mobility vendors to achieve timely resolution of complex assignment issues.
  • Collaborate with the Government Relations team to partner with service providers (agencies) to coordinate and facilitate relocation and immigration processes to provide an excellent experience for every relocating employee.
  • Consult with and educate hiring managers and leaders on global mobility, immigration, and relocation policies to ensure consistent and applicable relocation support benefits are offered.
  • Facilitate the Employee Induction Training, in partnership with the Learning & Development Manager.
  • Update the Employee Induction Training as frequently as required to ensure up-to-date information is shared with all new hires.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and ensure company compliance with appropriate local Labour Law regulations and guidelines.
  • Coach management and employees on local Labour Law regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Provide support to manage the employment contracts to maintain accurate data and local Labour Law regulations at all times, while cross-checking QIWA contracts through the Government Portal to ensure alignment of legal terms and conditions.
  • Provide formal documentation to employees of all amendments to employment terms and conditions.
  • Guide and counsel managers and employees regarding policies and procedures related to relocation/onboarding, immigration, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and offboarding.
  • Maintain up-to-date company policies and procedures.
  • Acknowledge employee requests within one business day of receipt, and address to the satisfaction of the employee.
  • Co-facilitate employee relations meetings with the HR Manager to address employee issues and grievances, offer viable solutions and maintain rigorous documentation of the discussions and process followed.
  • Manage the Employee Data Master Spreadsheet to ensure data integrity and accuracy at all times. Communicate updates to the HRIS team as updates are made, to ensure maintenance of data integrity in all HR systems.
  • Provide the HR Manager with HR metrics to develop dashboards to present to the leadership team, as per the schedule prescribed by the HR Operations Director.
  • Analyze HR data and highlight key strengths, changes or challenges in the business, such as Saudization levels, hiring levels, turnover levels, and present recommendations to address areas of concern
Profile/Skills
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in human resource generalist role, with strong experience is expat mobilization in the GCC region, inductions, and all HR-related activities
  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification ideally in a HR related discipline
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to GCC country norms, global cultures and practices
  • Strong knowledge of the local Labour Laws.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English and Arabic
  • Proven experience of succeeding in fast paced environments with sometimes ambiguous requirements
