To assume full responsibility for the Manufacturing Engineering Group in the absence of the Senior Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the planning and execution of the planned preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment to meet the demands of the process and manufacturing end users.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Projects activities to meet the agreed specification and time scale.
- Assisting in the development and auctioning of a plan to cultivate a safety conscious culture within the Engineering department.
- Ensure Compliance to Quality Procedures and standards within the Manufacturing Engineering function.
- Meeting preset targets as agreed for Manufacturing Engineering Department and site.
- Identify skills requirements for staff within Engineering and develop adequate skill base for future growth to meet the business needs going forward.
Experience Required:
- 5+ Years hands-on experience managing facility operations.
- Building maintenance, or MEP systems, building operations experience, and deep technical knowledge of critical facility systems.
- Experience in conducting Health and Safety, and Quality Audits within the Food/Dairy Industry.
- Experience in the Dairy or Food Industry is a prerequisite.
- Able to manage large number of headcounts.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication English skills.
