Principal Project Planner - RIY00P7

Primary Location: SAU-ARD-Riyadh

Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate a high level of skill in planning Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Management projects using computer-based planning and scheduling techniques.
  2. Focal Point for recommending training and development requirements for any subordinate planning personnel.
  3. Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software operating expertise.
  4. Responsible for implementing modifications to provide a cost-effective planning service within assigned budget constraints.
  5. Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU.
  6. Demonstrate singular major project planning skills.
  7. Proven ability to communicate effectively with others (verbally, written, and meetings).
  8. Ability to apply Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detailed Engineering and Installation Project networks and schedules.
  9. Ability to apply Earned Value Management techniques to measure/status and monitor performance.
  10. Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge approach to Project Management techniques.
  11. Proven ability to negotiate, mediate, and delegate as well as lead a team or participate as a team member.
  12. Safety – Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices for the BU.
  13. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
  14. Understand and apply the HSE procedures to ensure safety of self and other workers in the workplace.
  15. Understand and apply the procedures forming the Quality Management System.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant subject.
  2. Computer-based Project Management Planning experience (especially utilizing Primavera P3/P6 package or equivalent).
  3. Project/Schedule set-up in P6/Cloud for large global projects with multiple interfaces & stakeholders.
