Core Responsibilities- Develops, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products at major project worksites.
- Serves as the primary quality assurance resource to department for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Reviews and approves quality requirements for manufacturing planning, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications to ensure contract compliance.
- Devises testing plans and methods to assure reliability of product installations.
- Inspects parts and supplies delivered at work sites to ensure compliance with product specifications and contractual agreements.
- Develops, applies and maintains quality standards for all field operation activities.
- Designs and implements methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
- Performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions and process reengineering to ensure that operational metrics are maintained as per the globally defined standards for Otis products and services.
- Develops and implements quality system, and maintains them through internal audit ensuring compliance with set processes.
- Coordinates with client's inspection teams and quality assurance teams within Otis globally to identify best practices and deploy them locally.
- Designs and delivers training material on quality standards and activities.
- Participates in internal and external quality audits.
- Updates safety policies and procedures when required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent.
Professional Certifications: Relevant certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in performing engineering operations within the vertical transportation industry.
Nature of Experience: At least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing responsibilities.
Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English essential, Arabic preferred.

- Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
- Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
- Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
