Position Overview:
The National Sales Manager for Home Appliances will lead the strategic sales initiatives for both Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and Major Domestic Appliances (MDA). This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing national sales operations, and driving growth for the brand within the company's portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for SDA and MDA products to achieve national sales targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive activities.
2. Sales Management:
- Lead the national sales team, providing direction, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and execution of sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.
3. Business Development:
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the market share.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales initiatives with promotional activities.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure top-tier customer service and satisfaction, leveraging after-sales support to build brand loyalty.
- Address customer queries and complaints promptly and effectively.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely product availability and distribution.
- Coordinate with the finance team to manage pricing strategies and ensure profitable sales growth.
6. Performance Monitoring:
- Track sales performance against targets and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Implement corrective actions as required to meet sales objectives.
7. Training and Development:
- Organize regular training programs for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the sales department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the home appliances industry.
- Strong understanding of SDA and MDA products and market dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
