The selected candidate will hold the overall responsibility for the management of large-scale, multimillion-SAR projects, including commercial, technical & site construction responsibilities that achieve, or exceed performance targets.

  1. Act as the senior customer interface for allocated projects, ensuring the voice of the customer is heard and customer expectations are exceeded.
  2. Meet regularly with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on project progress.
  3. Liaise with clients and build strong working relationships.
  4. Ensure Safety, Health and Environmental requirements are implemented to the highest standards and are aligned to Linxon's and our Customers' governance/requirements.
  5. With the support of the Supply Chain Function, you will be responsible for the selection of subcontracted activities, plant, and services, including negotiating the contract terms and conditions.
  6. Strong Risk and Opportunity Management, both towards customers and the contracted supply chain partners/sub-contractors.
  7. Ensure the highest Quality standards are upheld throughout the project's life cycle, ensuring project quality plans have been developed and implemented.
  8. Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical- and human resources on the allocated projects.
  9. Support future order capture by providing advice, input, and knowledge to the sales and tendering teams.

Experience and Education Required:

Should have over 10 years of experience in Electrical Transmission projects, including Civil Construction. An Electrical Engineering Certificate is required. A Project Management Certification, or a PMP certification, are also preferable additional qualifications.

You should be able to communicate effectively and lead your projects with great confidence during challenging times. A natural ability to take initiative and apply both creativity and perseverance while remaining compliant with Linxon's Code of Conduct is essential. As Project Manager, you also need to be highly experienced in risk mitigation & opportunity management.
