The Account Manager is an experienced professional with deep expertise. Key Responsibilities:

  • Approach account management systematically by identifying strategies to develop and grow the account profitably.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis of the company's position compared to competitors to ensure the client's requirements are central to the proposed solution.
  • Positively influence and enable financial control, governance, and compliance in the region to prevent and reduce financial costs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for client issues.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Sales business acumen: Skills supporting successful selling through an organizational and business outcome mindset, focusing on planning, leveraging tools and data, and concentrating on business requirements. Develop skills to understand the client's business to bring value from the portfolio of services.
  • Sales client engagement and management: Skills to effectively manage and analyze the client throughout the lifecycle, aiming to improve relationships and drive sales growth. Develop skills to understand client needs, plan effectively, build trust, and manage expectations.
  • Sales solution skills: Knowledge of offerings, client applications, use cases, and market trends, and the ability to apply them to client situations, positioning the sales team member as an expert advisor. Link offerings, including high-value services, to specific client needs and outcomes.
  • Sales pursuit: Skills and knowledge to create success by identifying and advancing opportunities at assigned prospects and clients. Success requires individual ownership and accountability for coordinating internal and external resources to close sales opportunities.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a global partner management role.
  • Extensive experience in a sales environment and/or customer service role.
  • Extensive experience in the IT or professional services industry with a focus on business development and/or sales.
  • Extensive experience in driving alignment to a common vision and working across multiple stakeholders to achieve sales growth.
  • Strong sales orientation with experience working with clients and business teams to create sales-oriented solutions and services.
  • Extensive experience in a similar client manager role.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar contact platforms.
