Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced GCP Lead / Architect with expertise in designing and developing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, Looker (reporting), and other GCP services. Exposure to AI/ML solutioning and experience in the banking domain will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. GCP Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient GCP-based architectures.
  2. Infrastructure Development: Build and optimize cloud infrastructure for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  3. BigQuery & Looker Implementation: Develop and manage Google BigQuery for data warehousing and Looker for reporting and visualization.
  4. AI/ML Solutioning: Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI/ML models into cloud-based solutions.
  5. Security & Compliance: Ensure GCP solutions align with industry best practices, governance, and regulatory requirements (especially in banking).
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and drive cloud transformation initiatives.
  7. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and scalability.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a focus on GCP solutions.
  2. Strong expertise in Google Big Query, Looker, and GCP data services.
  3. Experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure.
  4. Exposure to AI/ML solutioning and integrating ML models into cloud environments is a plus.
  5. Banking/financial services experience is highly desirable.
  6. Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
