PURPOSE STATEMENT

Drive strategic growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities for BuildMate.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the construction, building materials, and heavy equipment sectors.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance BuildMate's market presence and achieve business objectives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

General Duties

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on Contractors, Building Materials Suppliers, and Heavy Equipment Materials Suppliers.
  2. Develop and execute strategies to promote BuildMate's platform solutions to targeted markets.
  3. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
  4. Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to present BuildMate's offerings, address inquiries, and secure partnerships.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients' needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  6. Maintain a detailed database of prospects and leads, ensuring regular follow-ups and progress tracking through the CRM system.
  7. Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reports to the Country Manager/CEO.
  8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and resolve any operational challenges.

Sales and Targets

  1. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and transitioning accounts to the operations team.
  2. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring activity is documented and up-to-date in the CRM.
  3. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by the Country Manager.
  4. Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure timely invoicing for new clients.

Client focus and communications

  1. Research and understand client needs, industry trends, and competitors to offer tailored solutions.
  2. Respond promptly and professionally to all client inquiries and requests.
  3. Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and contracts, adhering to company guidelines.
  4. Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.

Best practice and organization

  1. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to identify new growth opportunities.
  2. Share insights, resources, and innovative strategies across the department.
  3. Ensure all processes and documentation adhere to BuildMate's policies and standards.

Governance

  1. Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for business growth, including planning client visits, managing contracts, and conducting after-sales follow-ups.
  2. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and the Business Code of Ethics.
  3. Continuously refine department policies and SOPs to align with company goals and industry standards.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Deep understanding of the construction and building materials industry.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and deal-closing abilities.
  • Valid Saudi driving license and transferable residency.
  • Additional certifications in sales or business development.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms or digital transformation in the construction sector.

  • Adaptable and quick-thinking.
  • Able to multitask and perform under pressure.
