Technical Senior Specialist

JASARA PMC is seeking a Technical Senior Specialist in Interactives and Gamification to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive platforms and gamified experiences that enhance engagement and drive participation among users in our projects. Your creativity and technical expertise will be vital as you collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet project objectives and improve user interaction.

The role involves overseeing the design packages, guiding technical execution, and coordinating with contractors to deliver innovative, immersive, and operationally seamless interactive solutions. This specialist will act as the primary technical liaison between client's design team, consultants (LDC + creative designer), and contractors to ensure all interactive elements align with the park's vision, guest expectations, and operational needs.

This position requires a leader with deep technical expertise, strong project management capabilities, and an understanding of the use of cutting-edge technologies to drive guest engagement and satisfaction in theme park

• Manage and oversee the development of interactive and gamified experiences for attractions, rides, and zones within the theme park.
• Ensure that designs align with the overall vision, theming, and operational goals of the project.
• Act as the primary client-side interface with contractors and consultants involved in interactive and gamification technologies.
• Review design packages, technical submissions, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborates with the procurement team to ensure the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the project's successful completion.
• Oversee procurement and installation schedules to maintain alignment with the overall construction programme
• Advise on the selection of technologies, platforms, and hardware to deliver cutting-edge interactive solutions.
• Ensure integration of gamified experiences with other park systems, including ride systems, AV, lighting, and show control.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and work closely with contractors to resolve challenges efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including LDC, creative designers, and operators, to ensure seamless integration of interactive elements.
• Reporting to the design manager and project leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to theme park design and construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in interactive design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in interactive and gamification technologies, preferably within theme parks, attractions, or entertainment industries.
  • Proven track record of managing design packages and contractors on large-scale projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of interactive design principles, gamification strategies, and emerging technologies such as AR/VR, motion tracking, and IoT.
  • Familiarity with software platforms and programming languages used in interactive systems development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
