EH is licensed and approved by the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC), the National Center for Waste Management (MWAN), and the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu in more than 20 environmental activities and services, including environmental studies and consulting, sustainability and corporate governance transformation services, industrial and hazardous waste management (collection - transportation - treatment - sorting - recycling - disposal), waste landfill and environmental complex insulation and lining services, environmental emergency response services, site remediation, and others.
Job Overview:
The Document Controller Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of document management, ensuring that all company documentation is stored, tracked, and processed in compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This is a leadership position that requires strategic oversight and the ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring operational efficiency and integrity in document control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of document controllers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust document control systems and procedures that ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Oversee the classification, distribution, and archiving of all documentation, ensuring that proper version control and access protocols are followed.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of both incoming and outgoing documentation, including approvals, revisions, and distribution.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless document flow and ensure all documents meet organizational standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all documents, ensuring quick retrieval and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and audit document control processes regularly to ensure adherence to standards and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Provide training and support to the document control team, ensuring adherence to procedures and industry best practices.
- Prepare reports and metrics on document control performance and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information at all stages of document handling.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technology to continually optimize document control practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proficient in document management software, preferably in Odoo.
- Experience in integrating Odoo with daily operations to streamline document flow and business processes.
- Strong knowledge of document control best practices, industry standards, and relevant regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with regulatory and quality management standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
