In this vital role, you will oversee the performance, stability, and reliability of our applications, ensuring they align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement an application operations strategy aligned with the organization's business goals.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of robust, scalable, and efficient application environments.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of professionals in application operations, including managers, engineers, and support personnel.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of all essential business applications.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to enhance application performance and security.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Oversee application lifecycle management, including updates, patches, and end-of-life strategies.
- Create and enforce policies and procedures for application operations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the application operations budget, focusing on resource optimization and cost efficiency.
- Lead planning and execution of disaster recovery strategies for critical applications.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on application performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
