Job Description

The Design Manager provides leadership and technical oversight across all project components, ensuring the technical integrity and quality of their projects with the following responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the technical aspects of their infrastructure projects.
  2. Provide technical support to the Senior Development Managers.
  3. Ensure that all technical deliverables submitted by the Design Consultants meet the required quality and are delivered on time.
  4. Resolve technical issues and challenges, ensuring the seamless progression of projects through different stages.
  5. Ensure that the design management as part of the PMC services for the dedicated projects reach their goals as smoothly as possible, working closely with other design teams within the PMC team, client team, and external designers.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in road, infrastructure, utilities, etc.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  3. Proven expertise in design management for roads and infrastructure.
  4. Experience working in the Middle East is highly desirable.
  5. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  8. Commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
