About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer specialising in structural engineering and construction supervision to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing structural aspects of large-scale construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations.

  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to structural designs, specifications, and quality standards
  • Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and construction methodologies
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential structural issues
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical challenges
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, including structural assessments and recommendations
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians in structural engineering practices
  • Participate in project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the construction process
  • Analyse and resolve complex structural engineering problems on-site
What do we need from you
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) licence or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant structural engineering certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer) are highly desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in structural engineering and construction supervision
  • Proven experience with large-scale construction projects
  • In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar structural design software
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia
  • Excellent project management skills and familiarity with project management tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural design and analysis
  • Thorough understanding of construction methodologies and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of quality control and assurance in construction
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in construction sites
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
