The PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) is responsible for leading the team to design a blueprint as the baseline of the delivery, guiding the team through the implementation (from design to deployment) of a solution, and defining the specific solution, business, and functional requirements. Understanding the business solution strategy, operating vision, business imperatives, and capabilities, and how they affect technology imperatives. Defining the specific solution processes and business and functional requirements needed to realize these opportunities.

Working with other architects to explore and define how the proposed capabilities will fit into the overall solution architecture. Reviewing deliverables within the scope of the initiatives to meet the business imperatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega solution frameworks.
  • Provides architecture and design guidance to project teams.
  • Provides thought-leadership to clients across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
  • Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features.
  • Responsible for overseeing the work of a team and ensuring code quality and merges.
  • Working with onshore counterparts and BAs to drive the deliverables of the team consisting of 5 individuals.

Required Qualifications:

  • LSA Certified (at least level 1).
  • Experience in architecting and designing Pega-based BPM/CRM solutions for large programs.
  • Experience in designing enterprise class structure and foundational components.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agile development and delivery models.
  • Experience in working on various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors, etc.
  • Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models: Service Connector, integrating PRPC to third-party systems using RESTful Services (JSON, XML, HTTP), integrating Pega with other Technology Platforms, API, Data model, UI, security in PEGA 8.
