Role Purpose

The role will oversee the implementation and ongoing management of the Arab Coordination Group (ACG) website and social media accounts, as well as assist the committee in facilitating meetings and events. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, marketing and communications knowledge, and a strong understanding of digital content management. The ideal candidate will ensure that the website and social media platforms are effectively managed, updated, and aligned with ACG's strategic goals.

Key Functional Accountabilities and Activities

Project Management:

1. Lead the project from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones.
2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
3. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Website Management:

1. Oversee the hosting, design, and development of the ACG website.
2. Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.
3. Manage content updates, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
4. Implement and monitor website analytics to track performance and user engagement.

Social Media Management:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
2. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all social media channels.
3. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner.
4. Track and report on social media metrics and performance.

Content Management:

1. Collaborate with internal teams to create and publish engaging content.
2. Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with ACG's objectives and priorities.
3. Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with ACG's brand guidelines.

Marketing and Communications:

1. Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and impact of ACG's initiatives.
2. Create and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communications materials.
3. Coordinate with media outlets to ensure coverage of ACG's events and initiatives.

Event Facilitation:

1. Assist the committee in planning and facilitating meetings and events.
2. Manage logistics, coordinate with vendors, and ensure smooth execution of events.
3. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents.

Quality Assurance:

1. Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure the website and social media content are current and relevant.
2. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the website and social media accounts.
3. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for any website or social media issues.
4. Coordinate with external vendors for technical support and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications/ Professional Experience

1. At least 5 years of experience in Marketing & Communication, Website Management, Social Media Management, Digital Content Creation, and Event Facilitation.
2. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3. Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
4. Proficiency in using content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media platforms.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
