Role Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Operator to maintain the reliability of internal IT systems and ensure efficient service desk operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IT operations, SaaS application management, and automation-driven efficiency improvements. This role is crucial for maintaining IT stability and delivering seamless technical support within the organization.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Operations:

1. Manage internal IT support operations, oversee the service desk, and provide on-site technical assistance.
2. Ensure timely resolution of IT issues while meeting internal service level agreements (SLAs).
3. Maintain relationships with IT support vendors and external partners.
4. Efficiently manage ticketing systems, CMDB inventories, and device management systems.

Automation & Process Improvement:

1. Drive initiatives to enhance IT support efficiency through automation and process optimization.
2. Identify opportunities for automation to streamline workflows and improve service response times.
3. Assist in the governance and management of a portfolio of 10+ SaaS applications.

Technology & System Management:

1. Support the management and administration of Google Workspace and other cloud-based collaboration tools.
2. Monitor and support CI/CD pipeline operations to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
3. Maintain compliance with ITIL processes and industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Diploma degree or higher in IT or a related field.
2. 0-2 years of experience in IT operations, service desk management, or IT support roles.
3. Experience with Google Workspace and familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, GitHub, ClickUp, Google Identity Platform, and Terraform.
4. Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud-based applications, and automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Relevant certifications such as Google Workspace Certification.
2. Experience in managing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
3. Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team environment.
