We are seeking a Crowd Management Expert as part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Branch Office. The job opening is located in the Middle East and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Review the Bus Operator's crowd management plan
  • Review and evaluate design documents regarding projected traffic and dispatch facilities for pedestrians and bus passengers
  • Review and evaluate management documents regarding pedestrian traffic control, guidance and information systems, analyses and forecasts of pedestrian traffic volumes and pedestrian crowds/flows to be handled
  • Crosscheck capacity calculations and quality/security check of traffic facilities for pedestrians
  • Supervision of arrangement, dimensioning and implementation of traffic facilities for pedestrians
  • Liaison with stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 14 years' experience including 5 years in the transportation sector with emphasis on public transportation operations and crowd management, including coordination between high-level entities and involvement in major infrastructure projects of similar nature
  • Preferably with regional and international expertise, specifically 5 years' experience in the Middle East
  • Preferably experience working with Ministry, Government Agencies, Public & Private Stakeholders in the Middle East
  • Preferably proficiency in Arabic language, speaking, writing & reading, plus English language skills both spoken and written
  • Preference given to Muslim applicants due to the location in the Haram zone of Makkah
  • Full computer literacy
  • Excellent personal administration skills (taking of minutes, conducting presentations, working to agreed deadlines, etc.)
  • Driving license required to drive to site or to technical meetings with the client representative
