Turner and Townsend is recruiting an experienced delay analyst for its Riyadh team, advising clients on time related construction claims through forensic analysis of project records. The work is weighted towards extension of time claims, both preparing them and defending against them, and the successful applicant will conduct critical path delay analysis and draft the narrative that accompanies a submission.

Duties include identifying delay events with the project team, applying recognised methodologies to quantify delay, and producing analytical reports that establish cause and effect and demonstrate entitlement. Programme critiques, delay analysis critiques, evaluation of programme updates and forensic programme reviews form part of the role, as does presenting findings to clients.

The post also supports delay experts on construction disputes, covering:

fact finding
detailed analysis
quantification

The employer asks for a degree, previous experience in a claims consultancy, and eight to ten years of forensic planning worked solely in a delay analysis role. Candidates should be able to apply impacted as planned, time impact analysis, windows analysis, as planned versus as built and collapsed as built methods, and explain the assumptions and the suitability of each.

Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or Asta Powerproject are expected, along with familiarity with FIDIC contracts. Membership of a professional body is welcomed but not required. The projects are across the Gulf.
