Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to lead our efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures for our cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and threat landscape. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' data, infrastructure, and applications in the cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls and configurations for cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks in cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to security alerts in a timely manner.
  • Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance the security posture of cloud environments.
  • Provide security guidance and training to internal teams and clients on cloud security best practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer, Cloud Security Architect, or similar role, with at least 10 years of experience in cloud security.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and standards such as CIS, NIST, SOC 2, and GDPR.
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection mechanisms in cloud environments.
  • Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
