OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator, specifically in managing software development projects. As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of software projects. Your role will involve coordinating tasks, tracking project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring that the project progresses smoothly while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

YOU WILL
  1. Assist in the planning and coordination of software development projects, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and project goals.
  2. Support the project management team in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
  3. Monitor and track project progress, providing updates to stakeholders and identifying potential risks or issues.
  4. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  5. Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
  6. Maintain project documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and easily accessible for all team members.
  7. Assist with the creation of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  8. Track and report on key performance metrics for software development projects.
  9. Help manage software release schedules, including coordination with development, testing, and deployment teams.
  10. Facilitate collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
  11. Ensure adherence to project management processes and best practices.
  12. Provide administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development projects.
  3. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project, etc.).
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Basic understanding of software development concepts and technologies is a plus.
  10. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, or similar).
  11. Experience with project reporting and tracking software.
  12. Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies in a project context.
