Role Description

The Accountant under the Tamheer program at Innovative Solutions will be responsible for supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting practices and processes.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
2. Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
3. Perform reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
4. Maintain accurate documentation and records for all financial transactions.
5. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiencies.
7. Participate in audits and assist in compiling necessary information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting.
• Prior internship or practical experience in accounting is a plus.
