Kimpton KAFD Riyadh is a luxurious 212-key hotel located in the heart of the King Abdullah Financial District, offering five diverse dining options. We are seeking a talented Chef de Cuisine to lead our Specialty American Concept kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for American cuisine, creativity, and strong leadership skills to elevate our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Menu Development: Design and curate an authentic, contemporary American menu that appeals to our guests, blending classic and modern culinary techniques.
  2. Kitchen Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensure efficiency and quality, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a positive work environment.
  3. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, while adhering to hygiene and sanitation regulations.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, liaise with suppliers, and manage food costs and waste.
  5. Collaboration: Work with the Food & Beverage Manager and other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Participate in tastings and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: At least 5 years in a senior culinary role, with 2+ years as a Chef de Cuisine or similar in a high-end American restaurant.
  2. Education: Culinary degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  3. Skills: Expertise in American cooking techniques, leadership, organization, and multitasking.
  4. Attributes: Creative, innovative, passionate, and adaptable under pressure.
