We build trusted, simple, and affordable payment experiences for our customers and solve challenges such as increasing electronic payment coverage, increasing purchasing power at checkout, and mitigating transactional risks.

We are seeking a senior and experienced Business Development Manager to join Amazon.sa Payments team in KSA. This crucial role will engage with both internal stakeholders and external ecosystems (banks, regulators, payment providers, etc.) to shape the growth and development of payments for Amazon shopping in Saudi Arabia. The role will drive key goals, P&L, roadmap prioritization, external partnerships, and internal stakeholder management.

This role is based out of Riyadh, KSA.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Operate Payments goals and P&L in collaboration with Payments Country Lead, focusing on improving payment experience, affordability, access, engagement, and reducing costs.
  2. Contribute to Payments product strategy and prioritization for the country across different payment products & programs.
  3. Lead specific payment programs end to end, including strategy, P&L, and initiatives.
  4. Foster partnership strategies in the KSA Payments ecosystem to enhance the payment offering of Amazon.sa.
  5. Secure, sign-up, and manage working relationships with Payment partners; negotiate and finalize business contracts with partners ensuring favorable terms for Amazon.sa.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the fintech and payments space.
  7. Represent Amazon.sa at Payment's industry events and conferences to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  8. Collaborate with internal Payments Team (Product, Finance, Legal, and Ops) and broader Amazon.sa team (leadership, marketing, finance) to achieve goals and objectives.
  9. Contribute to Payment planning for Amazon shopping events and key strategic programs, providing localized inputs through customer/market research and benchmarking studies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
- 6+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including traditional banking, alternative payment methods, and emerging fintech solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of Payment Industry experience in partnership management, preferably in banking, fintech, or e-commerce sectors.
