Funds Investment & Operation Senior Associate

The role holder is responsible for deal flow screening and execution according to the Corporate Fund governance model. The role holder is also responsible for analyzing financial statements, forecasts, and funding requirements of each potential startup. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deal flow screening and execution according to the Corporate Fund governance model
  • Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and funding requirements of each potential startup
  • Perform all required due diligence, valuations, and investment thesis documentation
  • Obtain all required approvals from the investment committee
  • Ensure compliance with the Fund's Governance Model
  • Manage (Lead/co-invest/Exist) investment rounds
  • Assist startups in the areas of strategy, business plan development, and market analysis, building a mentoring relationship through the mentor pool
  • Provide executional support to startups in their go-to-market strategy, identifying all growth targets through the commercial track program
  • Help startups to monetize/integration opportunities with stc group and/or subsidiaries
  • Support the development of internal requirements for startup integration with stc in collaboration with BUs and FUs
  • Ensure compliance with fund management governance model
  • Issue quarterly/annual Fund financial statements and performance reports in coordination with the Finance Unit
  • Manage portfolio risk profile in line with stc group investment strategy and utilize expertise and past knowledge to make generally accepted recommendations
Job Responsibilities (Cont.)
  • Provide required support for drawdowns, internal audit observations, and risk mitigation
  • Ensure that all investments align with the stc strategic objectives and contribute to its long-term growth
  • Identify and leverage potential synergies between portfolio companies and stc, such as cross-selling opportunities, technology transfer, or shared resources
  • Conduct regular reviews of portfolio companies to assess their progress, identify challenges, and provide support as needed
  • Actively work to increase the value of portfolio companies through strategic guidance, operational support, and facilitating partnerships
