Job Title: HR Information Systems Specialist
Reports to: HR Technology Manager
Position Summary
The HR Information Systems Specialist is responsible for managing different HR Systems, coordinating HR systems-related projects, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest levels of quality, availability, security, and reliability of our systems. The focus will be on SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll, as these are the core HR systems, but this role also encompasses other systems and applications supporting all HR Functions and Teams. The HR Information Systems Specialist must have a versatile profile to handle multiple systems, applications, and technologies.
Scope of Work
- Lead and manage daily operational support for SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and enhancements.
- Lead and manage operational support for other systems like PeopleDoc (UKG HRSD), Microsoft SharePoint, and bespoke applications.
- Capture business requirements, design, build, and configure applications to meet business needs (including prototyping and proof-of-concepts).
- Configure SuccessFactors Employee Central (Foundation Objects, Core EC, Benefits, Time-Off, Timesheet, Time Tracking, Role-Based Permissions), Employee Central Payroll, and Recruiting & Reporting.
- Perform system configuration, including but not limited to portlets, MDF Objects, Workflows, Business Rules, Picklists, Associations, bulk uploads, and integrations.
- Maintain appropriate documentation to reflect system configuration changes within compliance.
- Implement practical business solutions under strict deadlines, collaborating with HR colleagues, cross-functional teams, vendors, and external consultants.
- Ensure deliverables and milestones are met within established timelines and allocated budget.
- Manage work streams, including monitoring project issues and exercising sound judgment for escalation.
- Perform and guide testing and issue resolution.
- Deliver training to super users, admins, and end users.
- Work with large datasets to cover reporting and analytics needs.
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central with the ability to independently configure modules/areas (Foundation Objects, Core EC, Benefits, Time-Off, Timesheet, Time Tracking, Role-Based Permissions, Reporting).
- Ability to analyze and develop solutions within and around the SuccessFactors platform.
- Experience with different integration methods (API and file-based solutions).
- Ability to handle testing of system changes.
- Strong project management skills, including milestone tracking and deadline adherence.
- Ability to capture and translate business requirements into processes, systems, and solutions.
- Competence in analyzing large datasets to detect issues and trends.
- Understanding of personnel e-Filing systems.
- Knowledge of project management processes, including stakeholder management, risk management, time management, quality management, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Programming knowledge (preferred but not mandatory).

Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in at least one SuccessFactors module.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience configuring and implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, and Recruitment.
- Minimum of 3 full life-cycle implementations of SAP SuccessFactors, focused on Employee Central, from planning to configuration through go-live.
Additional Requirements
- Experience in configuring other SuccessFactors modules is a plus.
- Experience in SAP HCM modules is a plus.
- Experience in custom development/programming is a plus.
